Top three highlights from the Top event at the University of Passau
Here are my top three highlights from Science meets practice powered by the University of Passau and Neuburger Gesprächskreis.
One of the University of Passau’s flagship Top events was bigger and better than ever,
with one evening packed with insights from outstanding female alumnae and professors of the University of Passau, picking up new female leadership skills, deep-dives into women in leadership trends from fellow female keynote speaker and networking with dozens of women leaders and allies.
So in case there is anything you missed, here is my rundown of the top three highlights from the Top event.
1. My panel gave answers about ‘Female Power — Diversity and inclusion, women in leadership and female leadership’, so what for policymakers, companies and society?
“Investors and executive boards must see the importance of diversity for good corporate governance. Supportive measures are needed on the part of policymakers and the companies themselves, as well as a change in society’s awareness and role. So society would be better served by more male leaders trying to emulate women.”
2. Austrian Airlines’ CEO Annette Mann gave insights in her keynote on the barriers on the part of women to leadership positions as well as the needed change in society’s awareness and role.
3. The President of the University of Passau Ulrich Bartosch wrapped up the Top event with the call to action for male decision makers to promote women into leadership positions and his own impostor syndrom as a man ally stepping into his leadership position.
